The Battle of the Books Club is for students in 4th grade. Students will form teams of 4 or 5 students, and together they are responsible for reading 15 books. The specific book list will be provided. (The books will be provided to the students in school. Purchasing the books is not required.) Later in the year, the teams will battle each other to see who knows the most about the books. The winning team will go to the County Battle of Books, where they will battle schools from other towns. 

The club will meet two to three days a month during recess. If your child is committed to reading the books on the list, attending meetings, and would like to participate, then this is the club for them! Students in the club are required to read 5 books or more and attend meetings if they are in school that day, in order to participate in the battle.
